Ingredients:
Beef
500gms Beef Mince
2 teaspoons crushed Garlic (approx 2 cloves)
2 teaspoons crushed Ginger (about 2cms grated)
3 large Carrots julienned into small strips (or frozen mixed veggies)
1 teaspoon Oil (avocado or any vegetable oil)
Sauce
3 tablespoons Dark soy sauce (reduced salt)
2 tablespoons Oyster sauce
2 tablesoops Runny Honey
100ml water
1 tablespoon Cornflour
Pinch of Avohaven Salt'n'Peppa (or salt & pepper)
Instructions:
In a large, deep saucepan, heat the oil over medium-high heat and add the mince. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned all over.
Add the garlic, ginger and carrots (or your mixed veggies) and cook for a further 5 minutes.
As this is cooking, prepare the sauce by placing the cornflour in a jug or bowl and slowly mixing in the soy sauce (add it gradually to avoid lumps). Then, incorporate the other ingredients and stir until the mixture is smooth.
Increase the heat to high, add the sauce, and allow it to bubble for 2-3 minutes, ensuring everything is coated.
Serve over rice, sprinkled with sesame seeds or Everything Bagel Seasoning.
