Brown Ale Beef Stack

Ingredients:

4 thin-cut sirloin steaks, beef schnitzels or any steak sliced thinly

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1/2 cup brown ale

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon oil

1/2 tablespoon Avohaven Salt'n'Peppa (taste and add more if needed)

Instructions:

Place the sirloin steak slices in a shallow dish, arranging them in a single layer.

To make the Marinade

In a mixing bowl, combine the garlic, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, oil, and Salt'n'Peppa. Stir well to mix all ingredients thoroughly.

Note: Since Salt'n'Peppa includes salt, be cautious about adding extra. Start with the suggested 1/2 tablespoon, and taste the marinade before adding more to avoid an overly salty flavour.

Pour the marinade over the beef slices and toss to coat each piece evenly. Cover and let the beef marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more intense flavour.

Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the beef from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off, and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Avoid overcooking for a tender result.

To Serve

We used toasted Turkish bread, spread with mayo on the bottom. Then, we layered grated cheese, salad greens, sliced capsicum, and avocado. Finally, we arranged the warm beef slices on top and finished with a sprinkle of Salt'n'Peppa.
