FAQs
Where does your Avocado Oil come from?
Our avocados are grown in Maungatapere, Northland, New Zealand on our own orchards. Most of our avocados are exported but before we pack them up and ship them off we select the finest plumpest fruit to create our oil.
Avocado oil is made by taking the pulp (the creamy insides of the fruit) and pressing it in a centrifuge (a drum that spins at high speed), which separates both the oil and the water from the pulp. The oil comes to the top and is then removed and filtered. It takes approximately 15 to 20 avocados to make a 250ml bottle of oil.
